I'm trying to figure out a connection between J Dunlop and Law family of Glasgow, Scotland. I have a mid19c sampler, coming through Law family, stitched by J Dunlop and we think she was 'Jane'. Other members of her family (sorry, they're only initials) are: WD, JT, MD, HD (all one one line - seems to be one generation?); RD, AD, HD, RAD (next line, next generation?) and lastly JD, MD, TD, RR, DD, JL, MD. Apologies for being vague!
