According to a sketch of our family tree in the bible of my late mother (Sara Ellis Dunnam Jones), Rebecca Downey was the daughter of William Downey and Nancy Kendricks. Nancy was born 12-1-1806 and died
5-20-1890. i have no other information on these, and am not sure where it came from. I do, however, feel that it is accurate.
I live in Union county, Mississippi, but my family originated in Tippah county. my affiliation goes from Robert Commander, Sr. to William Davis to James Enoch to Frank L. to Robert Ellis to my mother, Sara.
