The Lucy Dunagan in dwelling 80 was Lucy Cook Dunagan. Her husband, John C. Dunagan died in 1843 prior to her and the family coming to Texas. The others living with her were her younger children. George W.,born in 1826,in dwelling #81 is one of her older children and his family. John C., born in 1828, in dwelling 82 is another child of hers and his family. His youngest child listed, Leonidas A. Dunagan, is my ggrandfather. So, we are related somehow! Charles G. in dwelling 86 is still another son of Lucy's. The Mary J.(Mary Jane) living with Lucy at this time is the one who married Samuel Lamb! So now you have located your gggrandparents. I do have some articles about these Dunagans from the Freestone County History book that I could copy and send to you by snail mail if you want. Did you notice the spelling difference in the census?
