Hi, My ancesters who immigrated from Ireland mid 1800s settled in upstate NY. Most of the spelling I have found is Dumigan although on some census records the "m" is interpreted as 2 n's. They lived in Madison County and the earliest I have is Lawrence Dumigan, b. about 1832. He married Elizabeth Patterson. My grandmother, Olive, was one of their children. Could we share some ancesters?
