Elizabeth is the daughter of Thomas Melvin Dunsworth and Nancy Hall. Nancy Hall is the daughter of Samual Hall all from Washington Co., TN. Thomas Melvin if the son of Charles Dunsworth who was born abt. 1756. I'm doing further research on the family for before 1756 since I'm in RI and on the east coast. They all originally came from Phili, and previous to that, Sheffield, England. They had the name Dungeworth/Dungworth when Richard Dungeworth came over in 1677; and the whole family tree should be available on on, or if you plug in the name Dunsworth, you can get the tree most likely up to 1756. There is also a book written about Dunsworth's called "Some Southern Colonial Families, Volume IV" by David Avante, Jr. Hope this helps! The Dunsworth's/Dungworth's/Dungeworth's have a rich and varied history. There is even a village called Dungworth in England outside Sheffield! Also, the name was prounounced like the word "dungeon". So Dungworth sounded like Dunsworth, so they changed it.
