Yes, the book is very interesting with so many facts but the dates did bother me some so when the write up for Charles was found stating he was the father of James---
maybe there was a mistake on Thomas M birthdate- he would have been 17-18 when James was born, and a girl was supposed to be older than James-
the letter listed in the book was from nephew James H-saying Dear father, and sent to Uncle John Dunsworth- the other names are assumed-
(John & Mary are my line)
Thomas is found on the 1820 Illinois census-eighteen thirty Tenn census and eighteen forty Illinois. James wrote to his father in 1828 Illinois.
Thomas was probably the father of James H as believed but maybe Charles came to Illinois with him and was thought to be James father instead of grandfather.
Would like to know where Charles died and is buried. He was listed in eighteen twenty six in Tenn in the book.
Always hoping for more information on the line. Doris
