Hi, Doug. My mother's mother was Lea Duplessis, born in Syracuse, NY in the 1890's, and, accordingly, I and my sisters are direct descendents of Nicholas Gatineau-Duplessis, who came to Trois Rivieres, Quebec in the 1600's from La Rochelle, France. I have more details if you want.
