du Plessis of Switzerland/Charleston

I am searching for descendants of du Plessis, Jeaneret and Valleton from Neufchatel, Noel canton of Switzerland to Charleston, South Carolina, and members of the Two- bits Club.
Many of SC's Huguenots were of Templar descent, Knights Templars having fled to Switzerland during the fourteenth century, and the "Two Bits Club of Charleston where male Huguenots would put 'two bits' or a quarter-dollar in the hat fortnightly was a a continuation of the Templar tradition.
the head of the Templar tradition in Neufchatel had been Pierre Valleton, intended to be "governour" of this tiny group until he died aboard ship before they disembarked at Georgetown. None of his decendants among the Valletons, du Plessis or Jeanneretts could lead this little "colony"; howbeit, there was a distant Jeanneret relative in Silesia, the baron von Beaufort (-Belforte) who did head a Templar prefectory in eastern Germany which his family continued until his grandson, the last baron, died about 1854.
