Laussanit Duplessis Montreal 1804

My wife's great-great-grandfather Laussanit Duplessis was born in Montreal in 1804 according to the Clinton County NY 1850 Census. His wife was Julia Duggette (b 1803). They had one daughter, Adaline (b 1833 in Canada) and daughters, Matilda (b 1843), Mary (b 1846) and Philomene (b 1849) at Lake Chaplain, Clinton, NY. Apparently, Lausanit died in NY before 1864. Julia and the girls moved to Chippewa Falls, Wisc. where Philomene married Piere Legault (Peter Lego) on 5 Apr 1864. Anyone know of Laussanit's parents, siblings, etc.??
