Hi graham, how do you connect to this enormous family ? are you from a south african line or straight from the mainland, do you know about our family that have changed the surnames, some live in scotland , others in the states, lots in canada, many more in south africa - our common sa ancester is jean prieur du plessis, a nobleman they say, ships doctor, visited ireland and st thomas ( caribbean )and mauritius on some of his journeys. his father doctor too - how many people survived their treatment i wonder ! good luck.
