I would like to help you, but so far haven't had much success. I did not find a Dupree child who died at about 6 in CA - except for several Dupree children who died in 1955 in a fire. Had the child been adopted when he/she died?
Fort Wright was north of Santa Rosa near Colvo CA in Mendocino Co, but I don't know if it was still there in 1960. Suppose the child that was adopted by the Wymer Family was Denise Michele, b. 5/19/1954. If so, that means that she is not listed in the birth index under her birth name. Many CA adoptees are listed under their birth names, but many are under their adopted names. Oddly, Mr Wymer's wife was Audrey C Wimer (yes, that was her maiden name.) Would be nice to find a family tree on them to find their cousins, but I haven't found one. They were from Minnesota.
If you get anymore info post it. It might help.
