I have recently started tracing the Durden family in Autagua County. My grandfather was Dewitt Clinton Durden (b 1884) and he married Martha Alma Scott(b 1891)in 1911. My great grandfather was Benjamin Franklin Durden born in 1840 and he married Francis Lavina Pool born in 1844. They had several children and I understand that Benjamin was born in Mississppi, however I do not have any other information on him. I wonder if we may have some common threads since my family was also in Autagua County. My parents are Ralph Eugene Durden and Evelyn Ann Martindale, they reside in Little Rock, Ar.
