Durden Memorial Service

There will be a Revolutionary War Memorial Service for Jacob Durden(1755-1845) on April 24, 2005. The service will be at 3:00PM at the Canady Cemetary. This cemetary is located on Emanuel County, Georgia. It is located about 3 mile off of Highway 80 on North Old Reidsville Road, which is about halfway between Swainsboro and Twin City. The Service is being sponsored by the Sons of American Revolutionary Soldiers. All descendants of Jacob Durden are invited to attend. SARS will be placing a new headstone on Jacob Durden's grave.
