Most of my information comes from the two volumes of "The Descendants of Thomas Durfee of Portsmouth, RI" by Wm. F. Reed for your lineage.I have notes from other sources that do more to confirm information than to add to it.
Thomas Durfee b. 1643 England. d. 1712 in Portsmouth, RI.
Robert Durfee (1665 - 1718) m. Mary Sanford in 1687.Daughter of John and Mary (Gorton) Sanford.
Peleg Durfee (1698 - 1730) m. Mary Cole, March 21, 1721 in Plymouth, MA.Daughter of Ephraim and Rebecca (Gray) Cole.
Richard Durfee (1728 - 1815) m. 2nd. Elizabeth West, November 23, 1770 in Plymouth, MA.Daughter of ?
Richard Durfee (1771 - 1857) m. Mary Holmes, September 21, 1792 in Plymouth, MA.Daughter of Seth and Mary (?) Holmes.
Richard Durfee (1798 - 1843) m. Grace C. Brownell, October 26, 1820 in New Bedford, MA.Daughter of Uriah and Mary (Hill) Brownell.I am a Brownell descendant also and have done Brownell research, but never been able to find the ancestors of Uriah Brownell yet.
Richard Durfee (1826 - ?) m. Mary A. H. Weston, October 27, 1847 in New Bedford, MA.
Daughter of Thomas and Eliza H. (Howard) Weston.
Grace Durfee (1865 - ?) m. James H. Turner, August 20, 1885 in Waterbury, CT.
There was a Thomas Weston who funded the settlement of Plymouth Colony.I found that information while researching ancestors from Plymouth, MA.I don't know if this Thomas Weston who married Eliza Howard is a descendant or not.
Do you know who the parents of James Turner were and how many children he and Grace (Durfee) Turner had?
Hope this is a help to you.
