Scott M Connolly of West Springfield, Mass' old English ancestry in Massachusetts & Maine (Puritan & Cavalier) comes from the Maine Scotts & Durgins. Durgin's descended from 17th century decendants of William Durgin (b 1603 -England . Massachusetts): and intermarried with another old English family the Libby Family in Massachusetts.

Great-grandmother is Mary Anne Durgin of Portland, Maine.
