I believe I'm a descendent of Sally Titus Durgin Brown and her Durgin husband.

In the 1830 census Sally is listed as head of household with a male and female child of less than 5 years old.

Sally named her first child with Nathan Brown as Nathan Titus Brown. My ancestor is Benoni Titus Durgin. He was born in 1825. The only Durgin family in the Vershire area was Samuel Durgin his wife and family. It appears that the father (and presumed son of Samuel, name unknown, but perhaps Mark) died before the 1830 census.

I have not been able to find a marriage record for Sally and her Durgin husband nor a birth record for B.T. Durgin.

I am attending several family re-unions in August in Nova Scotia and expect to visit the Vershire area to see if I can track anything down.

Jim
