Tiant or Tinte Durham name
Posted by: Marlys Brewer (ID *****2543) Date: March 26, 2009 at 19:58:32

Hello, my grandmother Eudora L. Durham spoke of Tiant Durham as being a son of William T. Durham (1809) of Rockcastle, Kentucky Another granddaughter of William T. Durham says it was a Tinte Durham. Does anyone have a clue? Does anyone know what the T. in William T. stands for. We always thought it was Thomas? Also, I found a Tiant Durham 1920 in Mass., could this person be related to the Rockcastle, Ky Durhams. Does anyone know where the Tiant name came from. Our Durham group is in the Randy J, J2 haplod group at familytreedna.com Durham DNA study.
Thank you,
Marlys Brewer
