What you are offering regarding the relationship (or lack thereof) of Thomas & Henry is evidence, not proof. Historically, Bermuda and Virginia were regarded as a single colony, with planters & settlers going back & forth regularly. The closest mainland to Bermuda is Virginia. It seems to me that the real issue is the place of death of Thomas, something that can be in error without placing his parentage in error as well. Thomas of Virginia may have died in Bermuda; it seems that it is easier for an earlier researcher to have been mistaken about that rather than about the parents of Thomas. Since your original posts, have you found any more evidence? I'm also a descendant, through Samuel-William-Samuel-James-James-Mary Ellen & James Francis Bell. Best, Bronwen Edwards
