I have a memoir written by Clinton Durlan Sr. He was Grace's brother. According to him, she was born in 1893 in Luzerne Co. PA., the same place as most of the other brothers and sisters. (I think there were 9 in all.)
YOu could check with the county's records for more about Grace.
Clinton remembers living in a valley in Luzerne Co. but doesn't give the name of the place. He also writes that their father, Archie, ran a large cider mill and blacksmith shop for a George Calender. Around 1901 or 02 the family moved to Lee Park a suburb of S. Wilkes-Barre, same county. And lived at 100 Lee Park Ave. The four older children which would include Grace, went to school there.

I received this memoir from Clinton's g.daughter, Harriet Nabahe. You may have contacted her already, she has many posts on these boards.

Hope this is of some help to you. Would appreciate swapping info when you are ready. thanks.
