I read with interest your four postings on December 15, 2000. My email address has changed and is now vbroadus@hotmail.com. Do you know any more about Garrett D. who lived in Washington Co.? As to Nicholas - I now believe I misread the 1810 census, and the name was Devlin rather than Durlin. So I am not looking for Nicholas after all. I agree this is not a Durlin name. But I am looking for the parents of Sarah, Catherine and Alexander Dirling, who were in Westmoreland Co., PA in the early 1800s.
