The David Durlin in my ancestry was born in 1800 (date on his tombstone) somewhere in PA (census information). He married in 1821 in Posey Co., IN and lived there the remainder of his life. He married Hannah Saltzman, whose father brought the family from PA to IN. The Saltzman family lived first in Westmoreland Co., PA and then in Butler Co. David Durlin's early associations indicate he may well have been from the same part of PA. I have found Durlins (various spellings) in Westmoreland Co. in the early 1800s but not in Butler Co.
