Hi Tammy,
I think I have your Esther Durling. If this is her you and I are direct cousins. My great granduncle is Calvin Corle Durling--younger brother to my great grandfather William Henry Durling. Calvin's wife was Anna Southard. They had children Calvin J., Lillian, Miriam, and Esther. Esther was born according to the census November 1893 in New Jersey.
The following obit appeared in the Hunterdon County Democrat in 2003:
DELAWARE TWP-Martha L. Deemer died Friday, Nov. 14. 2003 at her home. She was 83. Born in Doylestown, PA., she was the daughter of Harry and Esther Durling Haas. She lived in Delaware Township for 62 years and was a homemaker. Her husband, Willard Deemer, died in 1981 and a son, Barry Deemer, died in 1999. Surviving are three sons, Willard of Delaware Twonship, Russell of Phillipsburg, and Stanley of Upper Black Eddy, PA.; a daughter, Dawn Brown of Delaware Township; a sister, Helen Reading of Pennsylvania; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held Monday at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home in Flemington. Interment was a Locktown Cemetery.

This Martha L.(Hass)Deemer--daughter of Harry and Esther Durling Hass is the older sister of your Marie Esther Hass and I believe is the Ester that is the daughter of Calvin Corle and Anna Southard Durling. I have an extensive file on the Durlings and I have no other Esther born in that area at that time. If any of these names sound familiar feel free to e-mail me. I have the Durling ancestry and can e-mail you with the information if you want it.
