HELP: Emma Durling b. 31/03/1897 N-S
Posted by: Marc Gagnon Date: September 07, 2000 at 08:14:21

My great grand-mother was named Emma Durling and she was born march 31 1897 in nova-Scotia. That is what I gathered from her death certificate. I presume she married and had two children Lillian (born circa 1918) and Glenn (born august 8 1922 in Avonport nova-scotia). For an unknow reason (did her husband die or fled?) she apparently remarried Archibald Magee and moved to Moose Jaw Sask. where two other children were born : Evelyn (b. 1927) and Earl (b. circa 1930-31).

Again for an unknow reason, Lillian and Glenn were given the Magee surname and their biological's fathers surname was forgotten. Glenn was my grand-father. Unfortunately, these people have passed away and i am left with a big puzzle.

I would appreciate any info on any of the people mentionned so I can move further up the lines. Thank you.
