Mary Durling m. Gilbert Purdy ca. 1755

Was the Mary Durling who married Gilbert Purdy of Newburgh, Ulster Co., N.Y. the daughter (bap 9/13/1724) of John Dorlandt of Oyster Bay as might be guessed from the fact that John's son Gerret willed a share in proceeds from the sale of land in Newburgh to his sister "Mary Purdy"? Or was she rather the daughter (b. 1734) of a Samuel Durland as stated in "Loyalist Lineages in Canada", Vol 2, Pt 2, p. 896? I like the 1734 birthdate better for her childbearing years (from age 22 to age 41 versus from age 32 to 51 if she was born in 1724), but I have not been able to identify a Samuel Durland who could have been her father.
