James Durnell(1802-1880) married Elizabeth Stanfield Littler (1807-1862)., married in Highland County, Ohio, had a son William. James a son of William and Catherine (Richasrdson) (1786-1850). William died in Grayson County Va and Catherine took her children to Champaign County Ohio. Elizazbeth's father was likely John Littler.

The root name is Durnil from 1780 Pa.
