I find the below from other sources.

1840 Armstrong County, Pa.
Josph Durnell - -101101 - 111001, hence he born 1790s as you say.

History of Fayette County, Pa.- Bridgeport borough/township.
1810 census - Luzerne - Samuel Durnell
1840s - officials like burgesses and council.- Moses Durnal and Courtland Durnel.

Other Fayette families mentioned - Chalfant, Worrell, Rogers. These family names all assocated wuth Durnil in ca 1800 Grayson County, Virginia.
In Fayetre 1850 - Mariah Durnal, born 1792.
