To clarify my earlier message, it was Lawrence County, Missouri that was the destination of a Jennings-Henson-Hamilton-Durnel wagon train fromn Grayson County, Virginia in the 1830s.

There was a large clan of Durnal-Durnell-Durnil in Carroll County, Missouri by 1860, all these spellings on the 1860 Carroll census.
