Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

My g-grandmother, Annie (DURNIN) GRACEY-WITHAM was born c. 1847, prob. in Northern IRE (Armagh, Down or Louth Counties). She emigrated to the US in 1870 and is first found in the 1870 US Census living in Portland ME in the household of Patrick DURNIN, age 40, born in IRE. Patrick's family (and Annie, I believe) migrated to the Dover NH area about 1874, and some of Patrick's descendants are still there. The given names of four of her five know GRACEY children were Catherine, Thomas, Mary and John. My g-grandfather's given name was Thomas. Since all of these given names are quite common, I don't know if any of this has any significance. I will be happy to share more info on Annie and related DURNANs, if interested.
