Reference to the Durnin family can be found in "The Annals of Ulster" and the "Four Masters". this latter work has the following: Matthaei O'Duirnin was the son og Morcher O'Duirnin, date 1368, Taedh O'Duirnin Died 1368, Wife of Donnchadi (Dermont Roe) O'Duirnin died 1388, Teige O'Duirnin died 1374. Anna O'Duirnin died 1369. The books referred to may be in your university library. O'Harts book of genealogies in a footnote says Durnineen was a soldier in Maguires army.
