I am pretty sure that my greatgrandfather's name was Charles Durnin. His youngest son, my grandpa, was named Ted (short for Tennasson)Durnin. They moved westward from Ontario early in the century and eventually settled in Brandon, Manitoba. I know that grandpa had twelve siblings in all.
My mother, whose maiden name was Beverly Joan Durnin, was Ted's eldest daughter.
If any of this helps you, please let me know!

Jessie Durnin
