I am researching SARAH ALBERTA DURNIN, born July 12, 1890, in Ashfield Twp., Huron Co., Ont. Sarah's parents were THOMAS E. DURNIN and BARBARA ANN DREANY. They were married 21 March, 1883, Ashfield Twp., Huron County, Ontario, Canada. I have run into some confusion regarding the parents of THOMAS E. DURNIN, her father. It is thought that his father Was EDWARD DURNIN and his wife MARY JANE SMYTH, but I do not find him on the 1901 ONTARIO CENSUS (www.familysearch.org). OR, could he be the "THOMAS ORTON", b. 3 Dec. 1889, Ashfield twp, found with EDWARD and MARY JANE, on that census?
Anyone know for certain that his parents were, indeed, EDWARD and MARY JANE??
