You can find the Andrew Durrett family in the 1850 census of Western Div., Chickasaw County, MS. While I am not positive, I think you can also find him in the 1840 Lauderdale County, AL, federal census under "A. Durrett."

He is listed in the 1860 Cherokee County TX federal census, Beat 8, #171. He died about 1888. "Andy" Durrett was my great-greatgrandfather by his first wife, variously shown as Elenor, Ellen, Ellender. Hope this helps. John.
