I am the administor of the Durrett DNA project and have people contact me all the time. I have an agreement with these people that I will not post their information and I will contact them when I find someone who connects to their line. So if you want me to put you in touch with that person I will be happy to do so.

I have found on Virginia Census the names William, Paul Parrin and Francis Durrett living during Colonial times, as well as, John, Bartholomew and Richard Durrett.

My lines are John Durett and Bartholomew.
Col Richard Durrett and Sarah Hampton

I can tell you that through DNA testing that Francis and Bartholomew's lines are related. Just how is unknown at this time. We need more Durrett males to do a DNA test before we know the exact relationship between these men.

You can contact me by email at and I will put you in touch with the appropriate person.

Thank you.

Joy Durrett
Administrator of the Durrett DNA Project
