Hello Durrett researcher. I am Maurice and live at Lawrence, KS. aged 64. I have been looking into the Many lines of Durrett for many years. Would you be willing to email me at wrightcroft@earthlink.net and give me your outline of the family as you see it. Also would love to have your odds and ends of information. Where am I ... well I am now looking at Chancery Case Wigglesworth vs Sanford... it seems to me that it is saying Richard Durrett of Albemarle Co. VA who died Oct 1784 is the son of John Durrett who died 1775 in Spotsylvania, Co. VA. And seems to NOT be the John who married the Goodloe girl. Can you shed any light on this. Naturally we are all looking for the elusive beginnings. It seems that John-1707, Bartholemew-1716 and Richard-1712 were brothers and sons of this elusive John... whose wife may be the Widdo Durrett in early Spots./Caroline. Please give me your thoughts. As I have nobody to talk to... grin. Bye
