You are the first response I have received from the posting. The information I have found from different sources on the web has been contradictory - I have Jesse's father's name as Jesse, Jerome and John from 3 different sources. There is an electronic version of the History of Lawrence County that has a section on Jesse's son, Joseph T. Du Shane that mentions Jesse and his wife, Lydia. The website is: www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/pa/lawrence/1877/bio3.htm if you'd like to have a look. I have copies of his obituaries from the New Castle, PA newspapers, but they aren't very helpful. I have just recently confirmed his relationship to my husband's gggrandfather and have not yet search any Delaware sites.

Can I ask who you are researching that led you to Jesse?
