I have information on Hannah Dushane (DOB: February 11, 1796). A family Bible reports she was born in Paris, France and other records state she was born in Delaware. She married Daniel Otstott on Sept 15, 1818 in Columbia OH. Hannah was the daughter of Benjamin and Susanna Dushane. Benjamin (DOB: June 10, 1755) was the son of Anthony and Christian Dushane. Anthony was the son of Jerome (born around 1673, died Mar 10, 1736. Jerome was the son of another Anthony. The name Dushane has been brought forward through the generations in my family since the birth of Daniel and Hannah's first son John Dushane Otstott. My father, grandfather and great-grandfather all had the middle name Dushane (all named Daniel Dushane Otstott). Had I been born a boy, my middle name would have been Dushane (Daniel Dushane Otstott IV). I can providr more information from the book A History of the Otstot(t)Family in America by Charles Mathieson Otstot. I would appreciate any information on the Anthonys, Jerome, Benjamin, Hannah and ancestors before Anthony. I'm interested in tracing back how far this name goes in the family. Thank you.
