Hi Dawn, I've just begun researching my ancestors. It is incredibly hard. I'm looking for any info on the following name, Schoneveld. It may have been spelled with a T at the end. I can't seem to find any record of the name on passenger lists. My grandfather came over when he was a few months old. His name is Evert Schoneveld. He was born in August of 1912. They eventually ended up in Sioux County. His father was an orchestra leader over in Europe according to the stories. My grandfather was born in Germany but we are from Dutch descent. Any help you could offer would be a great help.

Sincerely, Kathrine Schoneveld
