Hi Kathrine,
I'm Mike Schoneveld from Schiedam (The Netherlands). I've read your message, but because you didn't gave much information, I have not been able to find something about your ancestors. We do have a genealogy-book starting from around the year 1480, so perhaps with some more info I could find something about them. At the moment I don't even know where to find Sioux County... Our roots are nearby Breslau (Germany), but after WW2 (In 1945) they changed the name in Wroclaw and because of the border-changing after the war you'll find the place somewhere in the South-West of Poland.
There are lots of different ways to spell Schoneveld, but the most common are Schönfelder; Schönfeldt; Schoonveldt; Schoonvelt; Schooneveld and Schoneveld. In the US the most common name is Schonveld.
If you need any more help or have some questions you may always reply.

Regards, Mike Schoneveld
