Hello Dean,

I have some information on your Cornelius and his ancestors.

Actually he was Cornelius Jr. b. 3 Sept 1788. As you mentioned he married Catherine Edmunds. He died in 1861

He is listed in the 1810 Dover NY Census, but these early census records didn't give too much clear information. He is checked off in the 16-24 bracket. Living with one boy and one girl under 10. Wife is checked off in the 16-24 bracket.

He appears in the 1820 Census as well with four more children. But his wife is not listed in this census. Do you know when she died?

Cornelius Jr. Was the son of f. Cornelius DUTCHER b. 1753

This Cornelius was the son of . Johannes DUTCHER b. 25 JAN 1708, Kingston, Albany Co., NY, m. 02 SEP 1732, Chrystyne SISSIM, b. ABT 1708. Johannes died JUN 1777.
Johansnes Had several children. If you are interested write me an E-mail

Johannes was the son of Roelof DE DUYSTER b. ABT 1670, Marbletown, Ulster Co., NY, m. 17 NOV 1700, in Kingston, Albany Co., NY, Jannetji BRESSIE, b. ABT 1672, Albany, Albany Co., NY, (daughter of Christofel Brissie and Styutje Claes) d. 26 JUL 1749. Roelof died 19 JAN 1735, New Milford, Litchfield Co., CT. Roelof too had many children

Roelof was the son of Jan Wilhelmszen De DUITSCHER b. ABT 1640, Kingston, Albany Co., NY, m. ABT 1660, in Kingston, Ulster Co., NY, Margaret (Grietje) Cornelisse, b. ABT 1642, Kingston, Albany Co., NY.

Jan was the son of Wilhelm Jansz Van Heerden m. Mrs. Van Heerden Before this things get really speculative.

I really would like to know the information you have on Cornelius Jr.'s descendants. Please write to me at:
