I am looking for information on my great grandmother, Eloise Dutcher, 1858-1900. Her first husband was Byron Miller, who was a student in medical school in Chicago, Illinois. They had three children: Jenny D. Miller, 1875-1958; J. Bert Miller, 1876-1945; and Fred E. Miller. After a divorce, both Byron and Eloise remarried. Byron became a surgeon in Portland, Ore. where he was living when he died.
Eloise then married Russell Daniel Martin in Harrison Valley, Pa. They had two children: Mildred Kathreen Martin (my grandmother), b. March 17, 1892, d. April 10, 1980; and Mabel Martin, b. 1885.
The Martins moved to Ovid, Seneca Co., N.Y. In 1900, when my grandmother was around 8 years old, her mother, Eloise, died of a heart attack while having teeth pulled by a dentist. She and Russell are buried in Ovid, Seneca Co., N.Y.
