Hi Sue,
Thanks for replying. I have a Charles Dutcher born in 1840 or 1841 according to census. I have lost track of him. I know he was born in Livingston County NY. My GGrandfather's brother went to Iowa for a short time as his oldest son was born there. They returned to Rochester, NY. I know I have some connection in the Iowa City, Johnson, IA area also. My GGrandfather left NY and settled in Leavenworth, KS for about 13 years and then settled in Thayer County, NE near a sister. There were 10 children total who were all born in NY. I can give you further information. Contact me if you want.
Don
