Thomas Dutcher and Jacob Dutcher in Morgan Co., OH

In trying to solve a puzzle on one family line, I'm researching a branch--the Dutchers. I'm trying to see if there is a connection between Jacob Dutcher and Thomas Dutcher, both of Morgan Co, OH, formerly of NY.

Another researcher has located Thomas Dutcher and his children, Amanda, Jason, Allen, and Joanna in Perry Co. in 1850. In 1860, they are listed in the census with James H. Alexander, as are Caleb and Benjamin Wilson (cousins of mine).

Meanwhile, Jacob Dutcher is in Morgan Co. as early as 1840. One of his sons is David, whose daughter Lucy married Henry I. Wilson, the youngest brother of the aforementioned Caleb and Benjamin. And that's only part of the puzzle.

If anyone has information on these families, please drop me a line. Thanks, Sandy
