C E Dutcher --Electrical engineer

I'm looking for information on C.E. Dutcher, who was an electrical engineer in the 1890's. I'm doing some research for a history on the local utitilty. C.E. Dutcher installed a generator in a mine and ran the first power lines into Juneau, Alaska in 1893. We've found articles about work he did in Nevada and California, but he is always listed as C.E....never a first name.

I'd like to know his name and some background on him. Any information on suggestions on who he might be would be appreciated. If this is your family member, I'd be happy to share the information we have on what he did while he was in Juneau.

Thank you,
Gaye Willis
Juneau, Alaska
