G'day Alex,
I think I have put it all wrong, I might start all over again, beginning with me.
My parents were Doris May Withers married to Frederick Cyril Johnson, Doris May Withers parents were Harry Withers and Sarah Ann Duthie, her parents were David Duthie and Sarah Hartley, Davids parents were William Duthie b.2/4/1819 at Forfar m. Isabella Burn b.1/3/1818 at Montrose they were married in Craig by Montrose so far I think everything is correct.
Williams parents I have found as James Duthie and Isobel Sturrock, James b.11/6/1793 at Montrose and Isobel b.1792 at Forfar I also have them being married in Forfar if I am incorrect where did I go wrong.
I am heading to Scotland in October should be reaching Edinburgh by the 14th or 15th and we keep heading north as far as the Orkneys then back down the west coast and reaching Glasgow around the 26th/27th if as you say we are distant cousins maybe we can meet somewhere

Lorraine
