Thanks for all the info on the origin of the Duttry name. I've wondered for a long time
how that name came to be. The end of your note about Ruth Duttry being the daughter of George was peculiar, because my mom's married name is Ruth Duttry and she was the of George (Newcomer was last name though). I did notice at Ancestry.com the name of Christian Dutry under Arkansas Land Records in 1821. You probably alread saw that? Do you happen to know if that is the same Christain Dutry?.....Also in Ancestry.com there is a woman named Laurence Dutry in the Ancestry World Tree who is married to Nicolas Joseph Dubois which I though was interesting due to the Duttry Dubois/Sabula area connections. Thanks for all the help. When I see anything new that fits in to our heritage I will be sure to put it on the message board.
