Mary W. Aswell never married Wiley Duty. She remained married to William Hardwick Colvin until her death on June 30, 1882.
From the book "Collected Ouachita Parish Obituaries", Volume 2, Page 150:
"Mary W. Duty died in Trenton on Tuesday evening (Dec. 7, 1880) at the home of her son-in-law, Robert M. Hardy (husband of SENA DUTY, Mary's daughter). Mrs. Duty, nee ATWELL, was born in this city in 1823...".
