I doubt I will be much help, as well. I should have looked at it more closely, before my first reply. This is what I have:

I was given info that a Melinda Ellen Duty (b. 26 Jan 1900) was never married. I somehow found a death date of 14 Jun 1931.

However, when I was researching the 1900 Census. AJ & Martha Duty had 9 of 11 children still living. Listed was a daughter named Malinda C. Duty born May 1891. This listed Malinda matches up with the name Lydia Katherine Duty born 25 May 1891, I was given originally.

So, hopefully this Malinda is who you are looking for. This Mailinda/Lydia married Pat Napier.

The whole Duty side from AJ/Martha up is kinda of a mystery. Supposedly, the last name was Davis prior to AJ or his father.
