Sarah McComas
Sarah Jean Duty McComas, 65, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010.
She was born in Ragland to the late John and Nola Duty. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Emma Lou, Lina Jane, Carlos, Joe, Rodney, Loren Duty, and Ella Duty Styer.
She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Donald L. McComas; children, Rita Gail Damron, Karen Sue (James) Dotson, Pamela Lea (John) Spires, Kevin Lowell Damron, (Perla Hernandez); grandchildren, Amanda, Jimbo, Kevin, Kia, Lea, Krystal, Kenzie, Viviana, Ashley; great-grandchildren, Zane, Jeremi, Jauhna; brothers. John Duty, Jim (Mary Ann) Duty and Arthur Duty; sister, Vera Lea (Russell) Vance; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Friends may call at the Woodyard East Chapel, 2300 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, Ohio, Wednesday, March 3 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of O.R. Woodyard Co. Funeral Home of Columbus, Ohio.
