I don't know much more than I put in the first e-mail. He was listed in the Franklin Co Census 1860 with his wife and daughters. He is buried at St. John's UCC (Mauntel's), Union, MO. I do know that a Wilhelmine Duvendack was a witness at K. Elise Duvendack/Wilhelm Dierking's wedding (my ggrandparents). Most of Christof's children died in childhood. Two daughters were unmarried. One son, Gerhard, must have left for parts unknown. After Christof's death, an ad ran in the paper for his whereabout. I'm still looking for information , will let you know if I find any more
