John Blaine Duwe related to Iowa Duwes of Clayton Co., Iowa. William B. Duwe listed as being a resident and living with John H. Duwe in 1900 in Superior, Nebraska on U.S. Federal Census 1900. Extensive colony of German ancestral progenitors around Guttenburg, Morona, etc. in Clayton Co., Iowa. Bernhard P.C. Duwe, original immigrant from Holstein, Germany, immigrated to this country in 1854 at the age of 12. Port of entry was New York City.
